Love is seeing positive aspects in someone.
What you want is to love -- the feeling of love coming out of you -- and if the other person evokes that from you then you think you are in love with them.

A note on gender
Abraham is a group of evolved beings - they don't refer to themselves in any gender. On this site I use the pronoun she for Abraham because on the tapes we listen to Abraham is using the female voice of Esther Hicks.
